REVIEW

After reading a book there are only two options:

  1. Forget everything 3 seconds later

  2. Make it your whole personality trait for months until another book takes over

Most would say that they resonate with option one. That is only because they haven’t read the RIGHT books yet, that’s where I come in

Here are three books that you will never want to end whether you are a book worm or not!

The ACOTAR series

Sarah J Maas.

Juneen Dippenaar

One of my personal favorites. Hint, hint, I’ve read this three times and it never seems to amaze me. The perfect mix of fantasy, action and romance.

What starts off as a “Beauty and the Beast wanna be series” quickly knocks you back in your chair the more you read. Feyre’s survival depends upon her ability to hunt and kill. The forest where she lives is a cold, bleak place in the long winter months. So when she spots a deer in the forest being pursued by a wolf, she cannot resist fighting it for the flesh. But in order to do this, she must kill the predator and killing something so rare and precious comes at a price…. (Hint, this gets JUICY)

Dragged to one of the Fae Court for the murder of a faerie, Feyre discovers that her captor, his face hidden by a jeweled mask, is hiding far more than his piercing green eyes would suggest. Feyre must fight to break an ancient curse, or will she lose him forever?

You HAVE to read this story, manly to meet “The Bat Boys”, if you know, you know!

Maybe Someday

Colleen Hoover.

For all the romance lovers out there, I present to you the book that made me bawl my eyes out, gave me heartache because of the relationship between the characters and left me completely dumbfounded.

Sydney is living in an idyllic bubble. She’s a dedicated student with a steady job on the side. She lives with her best friend, has a great boyfriend, and the music coming from the balcony opposite hers is very quickly becoming the soundtrack to her life.

But when Sydney finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her, the bubble bursts. The mysterious and attractive man behind the music, Ridge, gives Sydney hope that she can move on and they begin to write songs together. But moving on is harder than she expects, Sydney can only hope….

This book is plot twist after plot twist, I as a non-romance reader, could not put this one down.

Stalking Jack the Ripper
Kerrie Maniscalco

This frightening creepy horror novel has a storyline inspired by the famous Ripper murders and has an unexpected, blood-chilling twist…

This story’s shocking plot twist is one you will never see coming.

It is a horror, mystery and even a feminist novel all wrapped up into the one truly horrifying yet addictive story.

Seventeen-year-old Audrey Rose Wadsworth was born a lord’s daughter, enjoying a life of wealth and privilege. But between the social teas and silk dresses, she leads a forbidden secret life.

Against her father’s wishes and society’s expectations, Audrey often slips away to her uncle’s laboratory to study the gruesome practise of forensic medicine. When her work on a string of savagely murdered corpses drags Audrey into the investigation of a serial murderer, her search for answers brings her close to her own world of high teas and silk dresses.
